Inca Celebrates the Festivities of the Crist Rei Neighbourhood

“Neighborhood festivals are a great opportunity to strengthen the sense of community and fill the streets with life and joy. As every year, we begin with Crist Rei and return with activities for all audiences—designed to share and enjoy a wonderful weekend,” said Inca’s Mayor, Virgilio Moreno.

The celebrations will kick off on June 27 with the traditional sopar a la fresca (outdoor community dinner), accompanied by a live performance from Duo California.

On Saturday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, there will be a children’s water party and a foam party. Later, starting at 5:00 PM, the neighbourhood will enjoy a lively “Tardeo” (afternoon party) with Mandingas and Gran Bar, featuring live performances by Electric Jump, The Hawaiians, Estación de Sonido, and DJ Calderon.

On Sunday, a mass in honour of the elderly will be held at the Crist Rei Church. Finally, starting at 8:30 PM, the festivities will close with the traditional karaoke contest, with prizes sponsored by local businesses.
