Inca City Council Presents the Program for the 2025 Patron Saint Festivities of Sant Abdon and Sant Senén
“These festivities are more than just a calendar of events. They are a living expression of our collective identity, a reflection of Inca’s vitality, and a demonstration of our ability, as a community, to come together. Thanks to the efforts of many individuals—organizations, associations, volunteers, and municipal workers—we have put together a program designed for all tastes and ages, combining tradition and innovation, culture, sports, music, and a lot of enthusiasm,” said Inca’s mayor, Virgilio Moreno, during the presentation event.
The celebrations will offer a wide range of activities for all ages and interests, from concerts and family-friendly shows to sports, cultural, and traditional events. Highlights include the emblematic Ciutat d’Inca Cycling Trophy, the Senén’Sierro race, open-air dances, “Inca Balla,” the community dinner (Sopar a la Fresca), and the solemn mass in honour of Sant Abdon and Sant Senén.
As in previous years, the program promotes inclusive and participatory celebrations with family-friendly spaces that encourage residents to enjoy the city together. In this regard, the Councillor for Festivities and Participation, Antoni Peña, invited all residents of Inca and the rest of Mallorca to take part in the celebrations with respect, coexistence, and joy. “The Patron Saint Festivities are a chance to share what we are and what we love as a community,” he added.
One of this year’s main new features is the expanded music offering. On Friday, July 25, the city will host a special summer party featuring “La Canción del Verano” and “INCA MIX 2025 Vol. 1” with performances by Soraya, Chocolate, Viceversa, Motown Tribute, Pep Tronik, Marieta, and Jaume Colombas. Also included in the schedule is the reunion concert of Ossifar, to be held on July 19 at the General Luque Barracks.
In addition, the program includes the official ceremony for the awarding of the City Medal to Gabriel Pieras. The event will take place at the Teatre Principal d’Inca and will feature performances by Maria Hein and Lorenzo Santamaría.
As for the traditional Sopar a la Fresca, this year’s edition broadens its theme by encouraging participants to “bring summer to their street.” Registration for this event closes on July 18.
The full program is now available on the municipal website and will also be distributed in print at various locations throughout the city.
