The 15th edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest (AMFF) will take place from July 25 to August 3 in Palma de Mallorca, consolidating itself as one of the most important cultural events of the Balearic summer, combining cinema, music, and industry activities. This year’s program will feature 84 feature films (63% national premieres), 20 short films, and one series, as well as 18 concerts and 12 conferences.

The opening gala, scheduled for Sunday, July 27, at the cultural centre La Misericòrdia, will include a performance by Mallorcan singer-songwriter Maria Jaume followed by the screening of Bonjour Tristesse, a new adaptation of Françoise Sagan’s classic directed by Durga Chew-Bose. During this ceremony, filmmaker Rodrigo Sorogoyen will receive the Master of Cinema Award from actor Luís Zahera. The festival’s closing gala on August 3 will feature actress and director María Valverde and composer Gustavo Dudamel, who will present the documentary El canto de las manos.
