The Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the Balearic Innovation and Technology Park (Parc Bit) are offering free, in-person training in digital skills for children and teenagers aged 9 to 17. The program will be led by specialised educators and will run from September 1 to 5.
Families can register their children free of charge at parcbit.es. Each camp lasts one week, with intensive morning sessions.
Digital Camp addresses the need for children and young people to develop the right tools to thrive in an increasingly digital world. The aim is to teach the safe and responsible use of technology, nurture digital talent and foster critical thinking among youth, with a special focus on those most vulnerable to digital exclusion.

This initiative not only teaches how to use technology but also how to understand it and leverage it as a tool for personal and professional growth. Supported by municipalities, schools and local organisations, the program takes place in safe, accessible spaces, promoting inclusive digital education.
Age-Appropriate Content
The program is divided into age groups, with content tailored to each group’s needs and abilities.
- Ages 9 to 11: Participants become “digital detectives,” learning to identify fake news, protect their online identity, and create content such as presentations or videos.
- Ages 12 to 13: They delve deeper into mindful technology use, digital coexistence, and privacy care on social networks.
- Ages 14 to 17: Digital Camp becomes a space for exploration and future opportunities, focusing on creating a digital résumé, online entrepreneurship, social media content development, artificial intelligence, programming, and cybersecurity.
At the end of the program, all participants receive the official DigComp certificate, validating their digital skills according to the European framework and adding value to their academic and professional pathways.
Digital Camp is an initiative led by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation as part of the Digital Skills for Childhood Program (CODI) launched by the Ministry of Youth and Childhood and funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
