The Ministry of Families, Social Welfare, and Care for Dependency Will Launch the First Call for Housing Projects for Third-Sector Organizations
This funding line—the first with this specific purpose—will have a budget of €1 million and will be charged to the 0.7% tax allocation from the Personal Income Tax and Corporate Tax corresponding to the years 2025 and 2026.
These subsidised housing projects form part of the portfolio of services that will ensure an immediate response to the basic needs of their target population through the initiatives of the beneficiary organisations.
With this call, the Ministry seeks to guarantee the right of people in vulnerable situations to live with dignity by meeting their basic personal needs, based on the understanding that housing is one of the foundations of social integration and the dignity of these individuals. To achieve this, it will also rely on the collaboration of social action entities.
