Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) has announced the suspension of train services between Intermodal Station and Pont d’Inca Nou on November 8th and 9th. This is due to the demolition of the bridge at the Greco Street overpass as part of its renovation works. These tasks require a complete halt of rail traffic in the affected section and have been scheduled over the weekend to lessen inconvenience to passengers.

Train service disruption and shuttle buses between Intermodal Station and Pont d’Inca Nou this weekend due to ongoing works
To ensure continuity of service, SFM, in coordination with EMT Palma, will offer a replacement bus system. These buses will connect all stations along the impacted stretch, with stops positioned close to the train stations of Jacint Verdaguer, Son Costa-Son Fortesa, Son Fuster, Son Cladera-es Viver, Verge de Lluc, Pont d’Inca, and Pont d’Inca Nou. Due to logistics, bicycles will not be allowed on board.
Replacement buses will operate from platforms 18, 19, and 20 at Intermodal Station, while the stop at Pont d’Inca Nou will be located next to the train station. Train services from Pont d’Inca Nou onwards will remain unaffected.
The refurbishment of the Greco Street overpass, currently nearing completion, is expected to finish in December. This work is essential to address structural deterioration in the existing bridge. Passengers can find detailed information about schedules and routes for the shuttle buses on www.trensfm.com and www.tib.org.
