The Government of the Balearic Islands, through the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports, has approved a grant programme worth €260,000 to cover travel expenses for the regional teams representing the islands at the Spanish School Age Championships organised by the Spanish Sports Council.
The initiative aims to encourage young Balearic athletes to participate in national competitions, ensure equal opportunities among athletes from all the islands, and reduce the financial impact of inter-island and mainland travel.
