The institutional stand, covering 18 square meters, features a renewed design and highlights a full-body taxidermy specimen of the Balearic boc as its main attraction. This presentation aims to showcase the distinctive characteristics of big game hunting in Mallorca and its role in sustainable territorial management.

The promotional approach emphasizes high-quality hunting tourism, targeting international visitors who combine hunting activities with the island’s gastronomic and hospitality offerings. This segment generates notable economic benefits and contributes to the vitality of rural areas throughout the year.

As a new initiative, visitors to the stand can enter a draw to win a stalking hunt experience for the Balearic boc on public land. Additionally, the island participates in educational activities within the fair by providing promotional materials and specialized publications, enhancing awareness of this species and Mallorca’s rural heritage.

Currently, Mallorca has fifteen certified big game estates covering approximately 10,000 hectares. These areas are managed through strict population control measures, including annual censuses and regulated hunting permits, ensuring ecological balance and the preservation of this distinctive species. Hunting is therefore presented as an effective tool for land management, combining biodiversity conservation with sustainable economic development.
