More than 722,000 euros to provide space for CEIP Ses Comes
With a budget of more than 722,000 euros, the improvement works at the CEIP Ses Comes in Porto Cristo have involved the elimination of the 4 existing modular classrooms and a bathroom, while solving the centre’s space problems. The work has had an investment of 722.929 euros and will benefit the 272 pupils (79 infant and 193 primary) that the centre currently has and those of the future.
The extension project consisted of the construction of a new module with 4 classrooms for infant education and a covered space on the upper floor to act as a gymnasium. In this way, it will be possible to take advantage of the classroom that is now used for physical education, reaching the 5 classrooms that the centre needs and freeing it from the 4 existing modular classrooms during this academic year.
