The SOIB 30 program offers mixed employment and training courses for unemployed people over 30 years old. This year, the courses are extended by two months compared to previous years and, therefore, will last eleven months. Forty-nine people will benefit from the four courses programmed in Son Tous and in the public estates Menut, Son Real and Can Marroig.

The counsellor Mir has been “very satisfied with the continuity of a program that not only opens doors to the world of work for those who need it most but also ensures that the management of the natural environment will have properly trained professionals”.

Among the training offered are courses such as forestry, agriculture, horticulture, gardening or forestry treatment companies, among others.

The IBAN manager, for his part, pointed out that the public company is working on the adaptation of the training classrooms in Es Mercadal and Sa Coma so that in future calls these courses can also be carried out in Menorca and Eivissa.

The SOIB 30 Formació i Ocupació 21/22 program is financed by the SOIB through the Sectorial Conference.
