A total of 34 properties in the capital of Raiguer will receive this aid worth 127,609.38 euros to help boost the local economy.

For the third consecutive year, the City Council of Inca launched for 2021 a new subsidy plan for the conservation, restoration and rehabilitation of real estate facades of the urban core of the municipality. Thus, within the framework of this latest call, a total of 34 projects have been carried out that will involve a total investment of 345,553.82 euros in works and reforms in the capital of Raiguer.

“The purpose of this plan is to promote rehabilitation and restoration work on façades; and thus encourage the maintenance of the city’s real estate and, at the same time, highlight Inca’s architectural heritage,” stresses the councillor for Urban Planning, Andreu Caballero.

For his part, the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno, stresses that “in this way, we also want to contribute to reactivating the local economy and boosting the construction sector, given the complicated situation we are living in due to the pandemic”.

Specifically, the consistory of Inca is subsidising the amount of 127,609.38 euros through two lines of aid, one for listed buildings or those located in the old town and another for buildings located in the extension area. In this way, 17 projects will take advantage of the first line of aid, with a subsidy of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 euros. On the other hand, another 17 projects are subsidised in the extension area, with subsidies ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 euros, under the second line.

Therefore, a total of 34 properties will be able to benefit this year from this call for subsidies, which will be reactivated in 2022. The execution of the works of these rehabilitation and restoration projects of the facades can be carried out until 31 March 2022.
