The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has selected 544 innovative renewable energy projects for electricity generation and thermal energy production in 13 autonomous communities, which will receive public aid worth 177 million euros and will channel a total investment, including private investment, of around 560 million.

Following the publication of the final resolutions of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), relating to the Lines of aid for thermal and electrical renewable investment, these projects will receive funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aimed at strengthening economic and social cohesion in the European Union and correcting its imbalances.
These new renewable energy installations will help to reduce the emission of polluting gases and energy dependence, while consolidating activity and employment in the economic sectors in which they are implemented and stimulating the development of new technologies and business models.
The aid programme has been organised through 27 calls for applications addressed to the autonomous communities, which have participated in the design and evaluation of the projects. The IDAE, as the instructing body, has been publishing the provisional resolutions, taking into account the allegations and the analysis of the projects and, finally, publishing the final resolutions, which are available for consultation, broken down by Autonomous Community and by thermal or electrical energy.
