The local Police of Inca informs us from their social networks that during this week from this Monday January 24 at 9.30 am until Friday January 28 will not be possible to access the Gran Via Colom from the traffic circle of Sineu due to channeling works of the new street lighting in Gran Via Colom.

The project was launched at the end of 2021 by the City Council of Inca .A project to renew the public lighting of Gran Vía Colón, in order to improve the service and achieve better energy efficiency. The company Melchor Mascaró will be in charge of developing the project, which has a total investment of 255,917.75 € (VAT included).
This important action, which will increase the lighting of the area, will increase safety for both pedestrian traffic and vehicles, and measures will be implemented to regulate energy savings and improve efficiency, such as limiting night-time light brightness and reducing disturbing light at certain times of the night.
In addition to Gran Vía Colón, the actions will also be carried out in Plaza de la Llibertat and the Jaume I traffic circle.
