Olvido Terrassa, until now director of the Department of Management of the IBAVI, will be the new managing director of the public entity.
This Monday, the Government will appoint Cristina Ballester Parets as the new Director-General of Housing and Architecture, who will take over the post from Eduardo Robsy, who has resigned for personal reasons. The appointment will be made at the Consell de Govern, at the proposal of the Councillor for Mobility and Housing.

Cristina Ballester will be replaced as managing director of the IBAVI by Olvido Terrassa Roca, until now director of the IBAVI’s Management Department.

The Government wishes to thank Eduardo Robsy for his work at the head of the Directorate-General for Housing and Architecture and to publicly acknowledge his contribution to making public housing policies one of the fundamental pillars of this community.

Cristina Ballester has been the managing director of the Balearic Housing Institute (IBAVI) since August 2019. Ballester was director of Finance and Budgets of the Island Council of Mallorca between August 2015 and March 2019, a position from which she launched the institution’s Office of Social Responsibility. She holds a degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University and a master’s degree in corporate social responsibility and sustainability and a master’s degree in leadership and organisational development with coaching and neuroscience.
