These awards are aimed at educational centres supported by public funds and public or private non-profit organisations, which may present their educational projects, curricular materials or educational innovations aimed at promoting the interest and presence of girls and young women in the field of science and technology.

The call, which will be open between 1 September and 7 October, consists of fifteen prizes distributed in five categories: higher vocational training centres; intermediate vocational training centres; secondary schools; nursery and primary schools; and public or private entities or organisations.

The ‘STEAM Alliance for female talent, girls in science’ is an initiative of the Ministry to encourage girls and young women to approach scientific-technological disciplines and contribute to closing the gender gap that exists in this field.

Since its creation in 2021, the Alliance has already brought together more than 120 companies, organisations and institutions committed to the task of nurturing female talent in the field of science, technology and art. On its website, in addition to relevant data and indicators of the education system, you can find projects, workshops and activities aimed at teachers, students and, especially, female students.
