This Sunday, 6th November, a very special event took place in Mallorca, in what has already been its third edition. Frogames Formación with its CEO Juan Gabriel Gomila and El Colegio Lluís Vives have represented the education sector, once again in capital letters. The Lluís Vives School hosted the third edition of the TEDx Arxiduc Talks in its auditorium with very talented speakers. Juan Gabriel Gomila and his more than 500,000 students have been the link between the TEDx Arxiduc talks held in 2019, where he was one of the speakers, and those of the last two years.

In the words of CEO Juan Gabriel Gomila himself:

“It is important to promote culture and education and with these speakers, we had to help as much as possible. Whenever we find an event as enriching for everyone as this one, Frogames is there to do its bit”.

The lectures, under the theme of Kaleidoscope, have shown us various facets from a total of nine speakers, and started with the youngest of the group, a boy named Daniel Arellano with a lecture that only he could give: Is pink colour suitable for children? He emphasised that stereotypes are there to be broken. Claudia Velásquez, speaker and trainer of speakers, was the next to share her knowledge in the form of a masterclass on teaching and communicating.

Can we build from what we feel? Ana Monbiedro asked herself this question and decided to study neuroscience and architecture to give life and sensitivity to constructions.

The name of the next speaker may sound familiar to some of you, as she was a participant in Masterchef 2020. Sonsoles Conde gave a talk on disability and adaptation entitled: What do you see when you look at me?

Also present was the block on mathematics and science, where Pablo Vidarte, who has appeared on the Forbes list and is CEO of Bioo, spoke about the generation of electricity from plants, or Santi Iglesias, a regular contributor to the Frogames talks and courses, with the latest developments in AI such as character generation or voices.

Among other fantastic speakers who passed through the auditorium this Sunday, it is worth mentioning the limited attendance at TedX events, which once again has set trends in social networks with the work done by the communication team. The day was a success in terms of attendance and participation and all attendees were delighted. After this magnificent year, we are already starting to talk about the next one, with several proposals on current issues, where Juan Gabriel Gomila will surely not want to be left out.
