This consolidation of positions is part of the stability plan carried out by the Health Service to meet the needs of family medicine professionals in primary care centres.
In this sense, the Health Service has also requested an increase of fifty-eight medical posts for primary care next year: thirty-six family doctor posts and twenty-two primary care emergency doctor posts.
These actions are in addition to the call for family doctors to be recruited with an offer of stability from the start of the contract, which will be for a minimum of three years and with the possibility of extending it with an interim contract.
The initial contract offer will be for three years, with the possibility of stabilising the position in the health system through the staff consolidation processes which plan to reduce temporary contracts throughout the Health Service to 5%.
The only requirements for access to the contracts are a specialist qualification in Family Medicine and Spanish nationality or nationality of a member state of the European Union.
