According to the Regional Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mae de la Concha, “we are once again making an effort to pay more and more dossiers and more and more to livestock farmers, who are going through difficult times due to the international context, with inflation and the rise in the price of animal feed”. “This advance payment is in addition to the one we made for CAP area aid at the beginning of the month, and so we now have almost 60% of this year’s CAP paid out,” he stressed.

The aid associated with sheep farms is the highest, with 2,020,119.03 euros, corresponding to 1,222 dossiers. Secondly, the aid associated with dairy cattle farms, with 837,753.21 euros, corresponds to 129 dossiers. The aid for beef cattle farms has also been paid, with 286,125.54 euros, corresponding to 204 dossiers; the aid for goat farms, with 16,403.01 euros, corresponding to 107 dossiers, and the special rights for sheep and goats, with 24,127 euros, corresponding to 24 dossiers.

The CAP advance payment period begins on 15 October and ends on 30 November.
