The Regional Ministry of Social Affairs and Sports brought together the jury of the Premis Esports IB on Monday 21st November to vote on the nominations presented and unanimously approved by the Balearic Sports Assembly earlier this month. The jury’s decision will then have to be approved by the Consell de Govern.
The IB Sports Awards, organised by the Department of Social Affairs and Sports through the Directorate General of Sports, is celebrating its fifth edition this year. On this occasion, the best sportsmen and women and clubs of the 2021/2022 season will be honoured with awards that value the effort and talent of the sportsmen and women and clubs of the Balearic Islands.
The Premis Esports IB 2022 for each of the 12 categories are as follows:

The Gala of the Premis Esports IB will take place in the second half of December at the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears (Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands).
The jury has been chaired by the Councillor Fina Santiago and the vice-presidency of the General Director of Sports, Carles Gonyalons, and has representation from the four island councils, the individual sports federations, the team sports federations, the Official College of Graduates in Sciences of the Balearic Islands, and the Official College of Graduates in Sciences of the Balearic Islands, the Official College of Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, the Association of Journalists of the Balearic Islands, the Union of Journalists of the Balearic Islands, the Association of Professional Sports Managers of the Balearic Islands and the Federation of Local Entities of the Balearic Islands.
