Registration for the Catalan courses of the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics is now open

In this call, all the pre-pandemic face-to-face offer is recovered.

From today until September 15, those interested can register for the Catalan courses of the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB). In this call, which runs from October 2023 to January 2024, all the pre-pandemic face-to-face offers and the semi-presential administrative language course are recovered.

Catalan courses of the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics are now open

12 municipalities have joined the course offer, two more than last year. The number of courses also increased from 51 to 58, including face-to-face, blended learning, virtual and online. They are offered in Alaró, Andratx, Calvià, Consell, Eivissa, Inca, Llucmajor, Palma, Sant Joan, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Santa Maria del Camí and ses Salines.

Registration must be done online at llengua.iebalearics.org. Classes begin the week of October 2, 2023, and end the week of January 15, 2024. The face-to-face and virtual classes consist of 75 hours; the blended classes, are 35 hours.

Llorenç Perelló, director of the IEB, points out that “in the coming months we will continue working to increase the offer in all the islands and that there is no demand from people who want to learn their language that is not covered”.
