During the meeting, Local Police and Guardia Civil, once again, showed that the Inca remains one of the most stable and safe cities in Mallorca. In general, they highlighted the positive figures, the prevention work and the good coordination between the two security forces.

Thus, about the work of the Local Police, recent activity has been marked by the increase in the operational quarry with the incorporation of 4 officers during the first quarter of the year; and the implementation of the video surveillance network with 117 cameras at present. ‘The figures show continued results concerning the previous year with excellent data on complaints and incidents, under the number of inhabitants. In fact, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior, the crime rate fell by 0.6% during 2023 and 2024 the same downward trend continues,’ said the head of the local police, Miquel Labrar.

Mayor Virgilio Moreno stressed that ‘according to the statistics of the Local Police and the Guardia Civil, we can assure that Inca is a safe city. This is mainly due to the good coordination that exists between the different security forces operating in the municipality. Therefore, my sincere thanks to the Local Police and Guardia Civil for the important work they carry out in the municipality.
