Antoni Vich Coll will be appointed as the new Director of the Institut per a la Convivència i l’Èxit Escolar (Convivèxit). The appointment will take effect on 1 August.

Antoni Vich Coll (Palma, 1990) holds a degree in psychology from the Universitat de les Illes Balears. He also holds a master’s degree in health psychology from the University of Barcelona. His professional career began in the behavioural therapy unit of a psychologist’s office in the city of Barcelona.

Once he joined the education system of the Balearic Islands, he worked as coordinator of coexistence and well-being at IES S’Arenal and IES Ses Estacions.

Antoni Vich takes over from Aina Amengual at the head of Convivèxit, the body that works to support educational centres to promote school coexistence in the Balearic Islands.

The councillor for Education and Universities, Antoni Vera, and the director general of Early Childhood, Attention to Diversity and Educational Improvement, Neus Riera, thank Aina Amengual and all her team for their involvement over the years at the head of Convivèxit, while encouraging the new director, Antoni Vich, to continue working for school coexistence.
