Mallorca’s Victory camps

The councillor for the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, explained that ‘these emblematic camps are a unique opportunity for the children and young people of Mallorca to grow, learn and enjoy themselves in an incomparable natural environment’. The councillor stressed that the project ‘promotes values such as coexistence, respect for the environment, responsibility and autonomy’.

The island institution has received 2,500 applications, 600 more than last year. Antoni Fuster celebrated the large turnout, which reflects ‘the enthusiasm and trust that families place in the camps’. He announced that he is already studying ways to increase the number of places available next year, ‘either by increasing the number of places or adding more days’.

During their stay at the camps, the participants have enjoyed various recreational activities such as water activities and excursions. Highlights include a visit to the Pollença aerodrome to see the seaplanes and night-time evenings with games adapted to the educational theme of environmental protection.
