From the 10th until the 31st of October, a group of adolescents being cared for by the Balearic Institute for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (IBSMIA) have organised the activity ‘Els poders que necessit’ (The powers they need), which is based on the possibility of having cards with the power to change things. Through this utopia, they will explore their real needs and reflect on what powers could help them to overcome the difficulties they have beyond the therapeutic support they already receive. This activity is designed not only to reflect on our limits, but also on the value of having the right support, because knowing how to ask for help when we need it is part of the process of overcoming the problem, and that is why it is very important to muster the courage to ask for it.
