The management of the entity Gestión Pública y Asistencial de las Islas Baleares (GSAIB) – which depends on the Health Service – has created an area for the training of non-emergency medical transport personnel (TSNU). Thus, more than 400 professionals will be able to benefit from this training plan, which will be held annually and will combine classroom and online training.

GSAIB creates a training area for non-emergency health transport personnel
Until now, medical transport technicians did not have their own training area. The aim of this project is to update and improve the knowledge and skills of new service professionals in areas such as the prevention of occupational hazards or the application of new technologies, among many others. The aim is to improve the training of technicians, on the one hand, and to offer better services to users of the non-emergency medical transport service, on the other.
The creation of this training programme will also involve the implementation of a new, simpler and more agile circuit for access to training actions, to facilitate processing for professionals and operational managers.
