The aid will be channelled through the Federation of Local Entities (FELIB) and in response to an appeal by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP).
The Government of the Balearic Islands will allocate one million euros to alleviate the basic needs of the population affected by the effects of the DANA of 29 October.
Following the instructions of the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP), responsible for the coordination of aid and donations throughout the territory, and in close collaboration with the Federation of Local Entities of the Balearic Islands (FELIB), the Government will make this contribution so that basic necessities can be purchased in the territory, as requested by the Valencian Community, depending on the needs of each moment of the emergency.

From the first hours, the Government of the Balearic Islands has been in contact with the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as with other entities such as the Red Cross and the FELIB itself, to offer all the support and aid necessary to help alleviate the misfortune that has devastated many Valencian municipalities and has caused the loss of many lives.
The Government of the Balearic Islands wishes to express its gratitude for the solidarity and expressions of affection from the citizens of the Balearic Islands towards all the people of Valencia.
