This Thursday, the IBAVI handed over the keys to the development of two subsidised housing units for rent in Artà, located in Vinya 7 and 9.

The development has a built area of 128.25 m², distributed over the ground floor, first floor and first floor. It consists of two one double bedroom dwellings of between 40,87 m² and 43,74 m² of useful surface area.

IBAVI hands over the keys to the development of two public housing units in Artà

The project consisted of the demolition, refurbishment and extension of an old multi-family building, which the Artà Town Council gave free of charge to IBAVI. The resulting construction is a building with a sloping roof with Arabic tiles, in which there are two duplex dwellings with direct access from the street.

Dwelling 01 is located between the ground floor and the first floor, and has a private garden. Flat 02 is distributed between the first and first floors, and has a private terrace.

Regarding the profile of the tenants, they are a single person and a couple. The rent ranges from 512.30 euros to 527.73 euros (including expenses). The rent is adjusted to the actual income of the tenants so that, in no case, the payment of the rent bill means spending more than 30 % of the income.

The execution budget for the project was 276,483.71 euros (excluding VAT). It should be remembered that this is a development whose works began in March 2023 and finished in May 2024.
