The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, visited the workers of the Llucmajor Fire Station who are on duty on Christmas Eve and thanked them for ‘the commendable work they do in the service of citizens not only at Christmas but throughout the year’.

President Galmés congratulates the Christmas holidays and thanks the work of the Mallorca Firefighters
Galmés highlighted their professionalism, their vocation for public service and the great work they do ‘to protect Mallorcans from any incident’, and conveyed his best wishes for the Christmas holidays ‘when many will be working and will not be able to enjoy these days with their families’.
A total of 49 members of the Consell de Mallorca fire brigade will be on duty to ensure the safety of ‘all Mallorcans’ during the festive season. Specifically, there will be 43 firefighters, 2 sergeants, 2 technicians and 2 room operators spread across all the island’s fire stations.
During the visit to the facilities of the Llucmajor Fire Station, President Galmés was accompanied by the Minister of Finance and Public Function, Rafel Bosch, the island’s Director of Emergencies, Joan Fornàs, and the mayoress of the municipality, Xisca Lascolas.
