With this aid, the organisation supports initiatives in the fields of the performing arts, music, visual arts, publishing and podcasting.

To promote the development of the creative industries, the ICIB has announced a call for applications for grants to support different cultural projects in the Balearic Islands. This line of subsidies is aimed at the development of up to five different cultural disciplines: performing arts, music, visual arts, publishing and podcasting.

A total of 37 beneficiaries will benefit from the ICIB grant for cultural projects in the Balearic Islands

In this way, a total of 37 proposals have finally benefited from the aforementioned aid. The organisation has allocated a total of 472,337.30 euros to these projects. Altogether, supporting 11 performing arts proposals, 8 from the music sector, 5 from the visual arts and 12 from the publishing world. In addition to these figures, the ICIB’s first incursion into the subsidising of local podcasting projects is a new feature of this call for proposals.

It should also be noted that this aid can be used to subsidise concepts such as the rental of exhibition spaces, translations and adaptations of original texts and the hiring of the technical and artistic staff necessary for the development of the projects. It is also important to note that all beneficiaries have until 28 February 2025 (inclusive) to present the justification for this aid.
