Stray cats are meowing for a chance, abandoned dogs are waiting for their second chance and animal welfare associations are constantly working to improve their lives. In Lloseta, there are more and more people who want to do something for them, and that is why Lloseta Town Council and councillor Javier González Bordas have organised a pioneering event: the 1st Animal Welfare Conference, to be held on Saturday 8th February at the Teatre Lloseta.

Lloseta raises its voice for animals! Don’t miss its first Animal Welfare Days
The aim? To inform, raise awareness and join forces so that animals can have a better life. During the day, animal welfare experts – veterinarians, lawyers and activists – will share their knowledge and answer questions about responsible ownership, cat colonies and municipal regulations.
But this is not just about listening. Local animal associations will be present to share their experience and explain how anyone can lend a hand. There will be debates, questions, experiences and plenty of inspiration for those who want to make a difference.
Councillor Javier González Bordas is clear: ‘We want this day to be the start of a municipality that is more committed to animals. It’s not just about talking, it’s about taking action.
📅 When: Saturday 8 February
