IBAVI hands over the development of nine homes for young people under 35 years of age living in Inca
This development, located on Carrer Marjades, consists of six two-bedroom homes and three one-bedroom homes, one of which is adapted for the disabled, and has a surface area of between 59.30 m² and 74.50 m². As for the profile of the successful bidders, they are three couples with children, two people with children, two single people and one couple.
In this development, the criterion for awarding the homes is that they are preferentially allocated to residents of Inca who have been registered in the municipality for eight years or more, as a result of an agreement between the IBAVI and the Inca Town Council. This initiative is a novelty adopted in this legislature, to ensure that residents have preferential access to public housing.
The development has a total built surface area of 1,140.16 m², distributed over the basement, ground floor, first floor and first floor. The rent ranges from 476.90 euros to 755.24 euros (expenses included). The rent is adjusted to the actual income of the tenants, so that in no case does the payment of the rent receipt represent more than 30 % of the income. For this reason, four of the eight tenants benefit from a reduction in their rent.
The construction budget was 1.6 million euros (excluding VAT). Work on this development began in April 2022 and was completed in November 2024. Once the works were finished, the IBAVI started the procedures to request the VPP qualification of the development, the favourable qualification of the city council, as well as the rest of the administrative procedures, to make the delivery of the homes effective.
