This amount was raised from the box office takings of the third concert of the season in the Auditorium of Palma.
The Orquesta Sinfónica Illes Balears (OSIB) has once again demonstrated its commitment to solidarity and music by giving the proceeds from the box office of its concert held on 12th December 2024 to the Federación de Sociedades Musicales de la Comunitat Valenciana. The amount raised, a total of 8,070 euros, will go to those affected by the damage caused by the recent hurricane in Valencia.

The third concert of the season, in the Palma Auditorium, was warmly received by the audience, who filled the hall to enjoy an unforgettable evening that moved the audience and reinforced the power of music as a tool for union and support.
Cristina Martínez, manager of the Fundació Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears expressed on behalf of the OSIB ‘our solidarity with all those affected by the DANA, who have suffered significant damage. Music is a bond that unites us and we want to contribute to their recovery in these difficult times.
With this initiative, the OSIB reaffirms its commitment to society and to music, consolidating its position as a cultural institution committed to solidarity causes and to supporting other musical groups.
