Balaguer holds a degree in Law from the University of the Balearic Islands, specialising in civil, family and juvenile law.

She will replace Maria de Mar Pulido Sancho, who has held the post until now.

The Consell de Govern has approved the appointment of Esther Balaguer Pomar as director of the Balearic Office for Children and Adolescents of the Regional Ministry of Families and Social Affairs, replacing Maria de Mar Pulido Sancho.

Esther Balaguer Pomar, new director of the Balearic Office for Childhood and Adolescence

Esther Balaguer Pomar has a degree in Law from the University of the Balearic Islands, specialising in civil law, family law and minors.

Balaguer has been a practising lawyer since 2000, working in civil law, and adoptions, as well as in the processing of cases involving minors.

The Consell de Govern has also approved the dismissal of Maria de Mar Pulido Sancho, as director of the Balearic Office of Childhood and Adolescence, who is thanked for her services.
