This new CEIP will have two lines, a UEECO classroom and complementary canteen and morning school services.

It will be operational for the next school year and will serve to decongest the other centre in the town, the CEIP Vora Mar.

The Consell de Govern of today, 14th February 2025, has authorised the creation of the Nou de Can Picafort nursery and primary school, which will be located in Calle Pinar de Santa Eulàlia and whose centre code will be 07016864.

Authorisation for the creation of the Nou de Can Picafort nursery and primary school has been granted

The building work on this school, which has a budget of 6,921,374.09 euros, is now in its final stages, and the centre will be operational for the 2025-2026 school year.

The new centre will be a two-track school with six units for the second cycle of infant education (from 3 to 5 years old) and twelve units for primary education (from 6 to 12 years old). In addition, the new centre will be equipped with a Specific Educational Unit of Ordinary Centre (UEECO) with seven places.

This school consists of a rectangular-shaped building with a ground floor and two upper floors. The administration, dining room and gymnasium block will be located perpendicular to the classroom building block and consist of a single floor, leaving a circulation space between the two that forms one of the entrances and communicates with the primary porch.
