Inca reaffirms itself as a cultural reference

‘The work carried out, not only during the last year, has consolidated Inca as a cultural reference in Mallorca. This report reflects the effort to offer quality activities and to bring culture closer to all citizens, highlighting a consolidation of cultural programmes and the promotion of new initiatives that have contributed to enriching the cultural life of the city,’ says the councillor for Culture, Heritage, Historical Memory and Language Policy, Alice Weber.

This diversity of initiatives has made it possible to establish close collaboration with local artists and creators, fostering a stronger link with the citizens. The programming has been conceived to be diverse, stable and committed, with the ambition to educate, entertain and strengthen Inca’s cultural identity, as reflected in the memory.

On the other hand, Weber remarks that ‘these figures are a sign of the growing interest in culture and the involvement of the people of Inca in the activities that are programmed. We will continue working to offer an accessible, plural and rooted in our territory culture’.

With these results, Inca City Council reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting projects that enrich the cultural life of Inca and consolidate the city as a pole of reference in the cultural sphere of the Balearic Islands.
