All these posts affect 96 health and non-health categories of professionals who have been consolidated throughout the year 2024. The stabilisation process, which ends today with the awarding of nursing posts, has reduced casualisation in the public health network.

The stabilisation process was announced at the end of 2022 with a total of 4,115 vacancies for which a total of 12,046 candidates registered for the merit-based competition and 8,520 candidates for the competitive examination.

It should be recalled that until now public employment has been characterised by a high rate of temporary employment, especially in the health sector. To correct this anomaly, the Stabilisation Plan and the public employment offers planned by the Health Service will make it possible to reduce the rate of temporary employment, eliminate precariousness and offer stability to the staff of the public health system.

Public offers of employment 2023 and 2024

At the end of 2023 and 2024, the Mesa Sectorial de Sanidad approved public job offers with a total of 1,322 vacancies. Seventy per cent of these correspond to positions for health personnel.
