A total of 1,306 people were summoned today to the exercise held in Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza corresponding to the call for the year 2023.
This Saturday the Govern de les Illes Balears, through the Balearic School of Public Administration (EBAP), held the first exercise of the selective process for access to the senior, technical, facultative assistant, auxiliary and subaltern bodies in the service of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands on the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. This selective process was called by the Ministry of the Presidency and Public Administrations in 2023.
In total, the Government has announced 101 vacancies, of which 13 correspond to the higher bodies of civil engineering; occupational risk prevention, statistics, cooperation, environmental sciences, medical inspection, chemistry and archives, museums and libraries; 46 to the technical bodies of occupation and labour market, tourist activities, therapist, agricultural, logopedic, IT, nursing, labour, sub-inspection, industrial technical engineering, forestry technical engineering, technical architecture and naval technical engineering; 36 to the bodies of optional assistant in infrastructures, marine reserve watchman, infant education, laboratory assistant, environmental agent and computer operator; 5 to the auxiliary optional body of driving mechanics and 1 to the subaltern optional body of reception and telephone.

709 people sit the first exam of the selective process for the CAIB Administration’s facultative bodies
By islands, it should be noted that the number of positions available for the facultative corps is 72 on Mallorca, 10 on Menorca, 16 on Ibiza and 3 on Formentera. Of these 1,306 candidates, 1,136 were from the island of Mallorca, of which 624 turned up; 79 from Menorca, of which 48 turned up; 87 from Ibiza, of which 34 turned up; and 4 from Formentera, of which 3 turned up.
The exams took place this morning at the Jovellanos building on the UIB campus in Mallorca, at IES Joan Ramis i Ramis in Menorca, and at IES Sa Blanca Dona in Ibiza.
