More than 800 runners take part in the eighth edition of the Son Espases race
For yet another year, the Hospital Universitario Son Espases has once again organised the traditional Cursa Son Espases, an event that has become an essential part of the calendar for both professional and amateur runners. It is a Hospital initiative that aims to promote physical activity and sport as fundamental elements for improving well-being and quality of life and, internally, to reinforce the sense of belonging of Son Espases professionals to their hospital. The money raised in this fourth edition will be handed over to the Hospital’s Humanisation Commission, which will decide which project it will be used for.
Joan Carles Cardona and Leonor Font were the winners of the men’s and women’s 8.3-kilometre absolute race, respectively. José Ángel Pérez and Sandra Vadell were the winners of the 4.7-kilometre popular race.
