3.7 million euros are earmarked for aid to promote innovation and digitisation of SMEs

They are aimed at improving the innovation capacity of SMEs or organising events related to innovation, among others.

They are co-financed with ERDF funds 2021-27 from the CAIB budgets for the year 2025 and successive budgetary applications.

The Government will allocate 3.7 million euros to aid in promoting innovation and digitisation of SMEs. For this reason, the Consell de Govern has agreed today to grant the Minister of Economy, Finance and Innovation the prior authorisation to exercise the powers to authorise and dispose of the expenditure derived from the grant application. These grants are aimed at improving the innovation capacity of SMEs, the creation of innovative business clusters, digitalisation for SMEs, acceleration and open innovation, the organisation of events related to innovation and investments in innovation for the Balearic Islands for the years 2025, 2026 and 2027.

3.7 million euros are earmarked for aid to promote innovation and digitisation of SMEs

This aid is co-financed with ERDF funds 2021-2027 charged to the general budgets of the CAIB for the year 2025 and successive budgetary applications, provided that there is adequate credit, broken down into the following budget items, amounts and annual payments:

  • 2025 899.000,00 €
  • 2026 1.242.000,00 €
  • 2027 1.237.000,00 €
  • 2028 322.000,00 €

In addition, the advance payment procedure with exemption of guarantees of 50 % of the amount of the aid has been authorised for lines 2.1 and 6.1 of the call, for the creation of innovative clusters and innovation projects, respectively.
