The Department of Tourism Promotion of the Council of Eivissa will present the island as a tourist destination for families at the ITB fair in Berlin through the ‘Ibiza Family Moments’ seal, with a campaign that aims to showcase the island as the ideal option for families with a range of accommodation, gastronomy, sports, culture and leisure options adapted to all families.

Thus, during the 4th and 6th of March, the promotion of Eivissa will be aimed at showing all those differentiating elements that can attract German tourists in general and families in particular. The German market represents 7.8% of all passengers arriving at Eivissa airport in 2024, a number that increased compared to 2023, from 319,886 passengers to 352,547 in 2024.

Ibiza will have its stand, similar to last year’s, measuring 102 square metres, where the town councils of Santa Eulalia del Río, San José de Sa Talaia and San Antonio de Portmany will be exhibiting. The hotel companies Invisa Hoteles, Vibra Hoteles, and THB Hoteles will also be present. The Eivissa stand is located in pavilion 2.1-105.

The fair will also include meetings with leading tour operators such as Schauinsland, Alltours and Der Touristik, among others.

The schedule of the fair’s highlights is as follows:

Tuesday, 4th March:
Noon, Meeting at the AETIB stand with all the island councils of the islands to present the Plan de Choque de Lucha contra el Intrusismo de Eivissa and the initiatives started from the Consell de Eivissa on this issue.
