Users from sixteen health centres, three of them in the Part Forana region, have made the route
The Director General of Public Health took part in the walk from Sa Feixina to the meeting point in Dalt Murada.
More than 300 users from sixteen health centres, three of them from the Part Forana – Esporles, Santa Maria and Sa Pobla – took part today in the special healthy routes organised in Palma by the Directorate General of Public Health and the Primary Care Management of Mallorca to mark the Day of the Balearic Islands.
The Director General of Public Health, Elena Esteban, took part in one of the two healthy walks, the one that started from Sa Feixina Park and ended in Dalt Murada, the meeting point with the participants of the other route that started at the same time in Sant Jeroni square.

More than 300 people take part in the healthy routes organised in Palma for Balearic Islands Day
On arrival, the Marxaires enjoyed a healthy snack provided by the MercaPalma company Agroilla.
This initiative aims to give visibility to a project that already totals seventy routes (more than 210 kilometres) and more than two thousand users throughout the islands, and aims to promote health and healthy habits and prevent disease. The walkers were also accompanied by physiotherapists other AECC professionals and volunteers.
At the arrival point of the two routes, the Regional Ministry of Health set up an institutional display with information about the routes and refreshments. In addition, physiotherapists from the health centres carried out stretching exercises for those taking part in the activity.
Eivissa also held a macro-activity of healthy routes which, in addition to commemorating the Day of the Balearic Islands, celebrated the tenth anniversary of these workshops on the island.
Users of the health centres of Maó, Ciutadella and Ferreries, in Menorca, have also joined in these healthy routes organised on the occasion of Balearic Day with the slogan ‘Fent salut per la ruta saludable!’
