‘Mallorca in Essence ITB Edition’ attracted more than 100 people from the tourism sector who enjoyed a networking space seasoned with gastronomic and cultural touches of the island.
‘Mallorca in Essence ITB Edition’, organised by the Consell de Mallorca, brought together more than a hundred guests from the tourism, accommodation, commercial and aeronautical sectors, mainly German, but also other European countries, given the international nature of the fair.
The aim of the event is to create a space for networking and also to thank tourism partners and associates for their commitment, loyalty and cooperation with Mallorca as a destination.

Berlin enjoys the most authentic Mallorca
During the evening, in addition to the dinner, the Consell de Mallorca team, led by its president Llorenç Galmés, reiterated its commitment to consolidating the island as a leader in responsible tourism. It is worth remembering that Germany continues to be the largest issuer of tourism to the island. German tourism closed in 2024 with 4.66 million arrivals, 10% more than the previous year.
The president stressed in his speech that ‘with these events, we want to transmit first-hand the essence and identity of Mallorca; at the same time as reminding the entire community that makes up the island, both permanent and temporary, of the importance of living together, protecting, regenerating and preserving’ a territory that is so dear to all those gathered there.
Gastronomy and culture
The flavour of the evening was provided by chefs Andreu Genestra and Adrián Quetglas, and the sweet spot was provided by pastry chef Ariadna Salvador. Local produce was the star of the dishes: ramellet tomato, carob cake, Mallorcan sausage, squid, seaweed and suckling pig were just some of the products on offer.
Classical music accompanied the evening with performances by the young soprano Lorena Bonnín and the pianist Carles Bonnin.
