The registration period for the free examinations to obtain technical and higher technical qualifications in vocational training is now open

The registration period will be open until 20 March 2025, both included.

Those interested must register in person at a public school in the Balearic Islands authorised to teach the training cycle corresponding to the modules they wish to take.

The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities has opened the registration period for the free exams that allow students to obtain the titles of technician and higher technician in vocational training. These exams are aimed at people who meet the entry requirements and who, for work, family or other circumstances, are unable to follow the training offered either in person or online.

Those interested must register in person at a public school in the Balearic Islands authorised to teach the training cycle corresponding to the modules they wish to take. In this sense, the registration period will remain open until 20 March 2025, both included.

In the case of the higher education cycles regulated by the LOE, some modules are taught in English. Therefore, those registered must take the tests for these modules in English.

Calendar

  • 6 to 20 March 2025: registration period.
  • 27 March 2025: publication of the provisional lists of registered students on the notice board and the website of the centres.
  • 31 March to 2 April: period for complaints about the provisional lists.
  • 11 April: publication of the definitive lists of registered students on the notice board and on the school website.
  • By 15 April: publication of the school calendar, the assessment criteria and the list of material required for the tests on the notice board and on the school website.
  • Before 30 April: assignment of the project for the assessment of the Project module for students who have already passed the FCT module.
  • From 5 to 30 May: the tests will be held according to each centre’s calendar.
