The Conselleria de Educació i Universitats reminds us that tomorrow Monday begins the last week to register in the lists of the call for interim teaching staff.

The deadline is 17 March. Those interested in participating in the call for applications who have not carried out any procedure during the academic year 2024-2025 can register online through the Portal de Personal Docent via the link. Those who have already taken part in any procedure since 1 September 2024 will automatically be added to the lists.

Today begins the last week to sign up for the call for interim teaching officials

Ismael Alonso, Director General of Teaching Staff and Centres Concerts, stresses that this year’s call for applications includes measures to improve the working conditions and family reconciliation of temporary staff. In order to register, it is necessary to accredit a graduate’s degree, the corresponding qualification in Catalan and, in the case of secondary education, a master’s degree in teaching.

In addition, more weight will be given to the fact of having passed competitive examinations without obtaining a post, it will be guaranteed that no one will be excluded based on their qualifications and, for the first time, a zoning system will be established in Mallorca in five areas to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life, of which at least three will have to be chosen.

So far, some 7,000 people have already registered on the lists of interims.

With these measures, the Conselleria de Educació i Universitats wants to guarantee more equitable lists adapted to the reality of the education system in the Balearic Islands.
