It is a measure to incorporate young researchers and health personnel
The Consell de Govern has authorised the call for training grants for non-doctoral research personnel in the field of health, corresponding to the period 2025-2029 and co-financed by the European Union within the ESF+ Programme 2021-2027 of the Balearic Islands (PFIS-CAIB and PFIC-CAIB grants), as well as the corresponding grants for academic fees, for an amount of one million two hundred thousand euros (1,200,000 euros), by the following distribution by annual payments and items of expenditure:
The year 2025: 192.500,00 euros
Year 2026: 300.000,00 Euros
Year 2027: 315.000,00 euros
Year 2028: 260.000,00 euros
Year 2029: 132.500,00 euros
With this call, the Government of the Balearic Islands is determined to take a step forward and contribute to the costs of recruitment carried out by health and biomedical research and health centres in the Balearic Islands, to incorporate young researchers and health personnel, to complete the first stage of research training, as well as doctoral studies and the completion of theses, and ultimately increase the number of PhDs in the field of health and health.

Health calls for training grants for research personnel
The alignment of this call for proposals with the strategies set out by the European Union, such as the Regional Innovation Strategy for the Smart Specialisation of the Balearic Islands (RIS3), will make better use of the available resources and will contribute decisively to the internationalisation of the Balearic Islands’ health innovation ecosystem.
