Thus, the Regional Ministry has reviewed the status of the modules of operating costs of the centres, has begun the equalisation of remuneration with public teachers, and has complied with a reduction of the maximum weekly teaching activity to 23 hours for teachers of ESO, baccalaureate and vocational training. The payment of the second, third, fourth and fifth bonuses associated with seniority and teacher training (sexenios) has also begun to be applied, as well as the reduction of ratios in early childhood education classrooms, bringing them into line with public education.

In addition, the payment of the 25-year seniority bonus has begun, all private schools have been recognised as centres of preferential attention and the provision of educational guidance has been increased, together with a greater allocation of resources for attention to diversity in schools through the Technical Educational Assistants (ATE).

On the other hand, the Department of Teaching Staff and Concerted Centres has improved the Framework Agreement with an increase in resources for special education centres and has proposed the creation of a sector agreement so that teachers can change centres without losing their seniority.

With the implementation of the points established in the Framework Agreement for Private Subsidised Education, the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats has made an important effort to improve the social and working conditions of teachers and to optimise the functioning of the centres. This commitment reflects the desire to guarantee a fairer and more balanced educational environment, in which both teachers and schools can carry out their work in the best possible conditions. The aim is to achieve a more equitable and quality education system, in which the essential work of teachers is recognised and the resources and structures that allow for the optimal functioning of grant-aided schools are strengthened.

Next week, the Mesa Sectorial de Educación is scheduled to be held, at which the Conselleria d’Educació i Universitats will present a report on the state of compliance with the Framework Agreement signed with the trade union representatives.
