The shifts will take place in May: from the 6th to the 9th, from the 13th to the 16th, from the 20th to the 23rd and from the 27th to the 30th. The total price is 163.85 € per person (327.70 € per double room) and includes full board, activities and insurance. The interested person must make a single registration to be eligible for a double place which includes his/her stay and that of the person accompanying him/her.

The programme includes a visit to the Es Grau lagoon to observe the diversity of birds and learn about the native flora and fauna of Menorca, a guided tour of Ciutadella with visits to the cathedral and various stately palaces, as well as a visit to a cheese farm with a tasting of typical products.

There will also be a visit to the naveta of Es Tudons, one of the most emblematic prehistoric monuments on the island. There will be an excursion to the Toro, the highest point of Menorca, and a gastronomic and cultural experience in Fornells, with a tour of the village, and a visit to the tower of Fornells and the Cavalleria lighthouse. Finally, the trip will conclude with a visit to Sa Mesquida, the Favàritx lighthouse and the fortress of La Mola, as well as an excursion to Maó.

The Councillor of the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, stressed that at the Consell we are working to offer experiences that encourage physical and mental activity, while at the same time allowing new personal relationships to be established and cultural heritage to be enjoyed in the company’. This programme joins other initiatives such as the stays that promote activity, the Diada de Baile en Línea, the first Fira de la Gent Gran and the choir meetings, thus consolidating a varied offer for the well-being and socialisation of the elderly.

The deadline for submitting registrations will open on Wednesday 19th March at the Consell de Mallorca’s electronic headquarters and will end on 31st March.
