The resources earmarked for the 2025 period are insufficient to meet the increase in the number of applications submitted.

The Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy has increased the economic endowment in order to favour the greatest possible number of beneficiaries.

The Consell de Govern has authorised an increase of 3,549,732.80 euros in the budget for the call for aid for internationalisation projects for micro-enterprises, SMEs, associations and clusters in the Balearic Islands carried out in the periods 2022-2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, at the proposal of the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy.

The call for aid to internationalise micro-enterprises, SMEs and clusters has increased to 3.5 million euros

The additional resources, 1,349,732.80 euros, will allow the greatest possible number of applications submitted in the third eligible period to be met. Specifically, 111 applications have been received for 2025, which is significantly more than the 97 applications registered for the two previous periods and which exhausted the funds foreseen for these stages (1,100,000 euros).

Thus, it is expected that the 550,000 euros allocated in 2025 to meet the grant applications for internationalisation projects will be insufficient to cover the demands presented.

For this reason, the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy, through the Directorate General for Enterprise, the Self-Employed and Trade, has decided to increase the financial endowment to benefit a greater number of beneficiaries.
