The Consell de Govern has appointed the new members of the Economic and Social Council of the Balearic Islands (CES), a collegiate advisory body whose relations with the Government and the Administration of the Autonomous Community are articulated through the Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy.

The new members of the Economic and Social Council of the Balearic Islands (CES) have been appointed
The CES is responsible for participation, study, deliberation, advice and proposals on economic and social matters. The Consell de Govern has appointed the new members for four years, renewable, after having received the proposals and nominations from the organisations that make up this body.
The new members, proposed by the most representative business organisations in the Balearic Islands (Group I), and specifically representing the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB), are:
- As titular members: Carmen Planas Palou, Sergio Bertran Damià, María del Mar Muñoz Muñoz, Francisco Martorell Esteban, Eduardo López Ramos, Rafael Roig Grimalt, Antoni Gayà Gayà, Azucena Jiménez Ruíz and Margalida Adrover Caldentey.
- As substitutes: Carmen Francés Abenza, María Montojo Ripoll, Margarita Martínez Aguiló, Antoni Monjo Tomàs, Sandra Verger Rufián, Salvador Servera Jaume i Antonio Vilella Paredes, Margarita Isern Coli and José Antonio Roselló Rausell.
As for the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Balearic Islands (PIMEB) (group I), the members who will represent it are:
- As titular members: Jordi Mora Vallbona, Juan Carlos Fernández de Salort and Alfonso Rojo Serrano.
- As substitutes: Rafael Matas Campins, Maria Garcia Melsión and María de los Ángeles Marí Puig.
The members appointed at the proposal of the most representative trade union organisations in the Balearic Islands (Group II) and, specifically, in the representation of the Trade Union Confederation of Comisiones Obreras (CCOO), are:
- As incumbents: José Luis García Vidal, Silvia Montejano Cofreces, Francesc Mellado Serra, Caterina Ginard Adrover, Josep Ginard Vallcaneras and Maria Àngels Aguiló Bosch.
- As substitutes: Maribel Millán Sanz, Antonio Soria Hernández, Maria del Carme Carmona Burguillos, Vicente Llosa Valenciano, Consuelo López Melero and Daniel Cámara Sánchez.
The following members have also been appointed to represent the Unión General de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores (UGT) (group II):
- As titular members: Pedro Homar Ferragut, Maider Calvo Irastorza, Sebastián Lora Sánchez, José García Relucio, Miguel Ángel Romero Barrones and Sonia Saavedra Ferreira.
- As substitutes: Pere Rullan Serra, Tomàs Navarro Delicado, Antònia Bauzá Vives, Pedro Roig Coll, María José Cordero Sánchez and Roberto Serrano Herrero.
The people who will represent the institutions, entities and associations of relevance in the agricultural, fishing, social economy, consumer and user associations and the University of the Balearic Islands (group III) sectors have also been appointed.
Thus, the agricultural sector will be represented by Joan Company Bauzá, with Sebastià Ordines Capó as a titular member and Sebastià Ordines Capó as a substitute.
As for the fishing sector, the titular member will be Domingo Bonnín Bautista and the substitute will be Carlos Ros Vicens.
Likewise, in the representation of the social economy sector, the titular member will be Jerónima Bonafè Ramis and the substitute will be Joan Manuel Mulet Juan.
With regard to consumer and user associations, the incumbent will be María Pueyo Pons Ester and the substitute will be Pau A. Monserrat Valentí.
The titular representative of the University of the Balearic Islands will be Carles Mulet Forteza and the substitute, Maria Llompart Bibiloni.
On the other hand, the organisations representing the interests of local entities will be represented by Neus Serra Cañellas as a titular member and Pedro Bofill Contreras as a substitute.
Associations and organisations whose main purpose is to protect the environment will be represented by Lluís Amengual Llabrés as titular member and Débora Morrison as substitute.
Finally, as experts in economic and social or environmental matters, the following people will be present:
- As members: Luis Ramis de Ayreflor Cardell representing the Government of the Balearic Islands; Antoni Serra Puig for the Council of Mallorca; Joan Pons Pons for the Council of Menorca; Josefa Gutiérrez Costa for the Island Council of Eivissa; and Juan Manuel Costa Escanellas for the Council of Formentera.
- As substitutes: Teresa Palmer Tous for the Govern de les Illes Balears; Pere Josep Bover Crespí for the Consell de Mallorca; Pilar Pons Faner for the Consell de Menorca; Agustín Goerlich López for the Consell Insular de Eivissa; and Giuseppe Aflallo Segura for the Consell de Formentera.
