These works will benefit the 155,000 users of the Manacor Hospital
The Consell de Govern has authorised the transfer of 2,733,660.53 euros from the Insularity Factor Fund for the Health Service’s Health Investment Plan (2024-2027), which will be used for the construction works of the Manacor Hospital Master Plan.
Work on the refurbishment and expansion of Manacor Hospital is well underway. Work is currently underway on the interior of the new outpatient building and, at the same time, work on the industrial building is being completed.

The new outpatient building will house the Rehabilitation and Dialysis services, two floors for outpatient consultations and cabinets, and the third floor will house the Day Hospital.
These works will benefit 155,000 users of the Manacor Hospital. The Hospital’s Master Plan has an overall budget of 59 million euros and forms part of the Health Service’s Health Investment Plan 2024-2027, which foresees an investment of 435 million euros over the next four years.
The Insularity Factor is included in Royal Decree Law 4/2019, of 22 February, which regulates the special regime of the Balearic Islands. This regulation establishes that an allocation of the insularity factor for the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands will be included as a provision in the general State budget for each financial year.
